It was not so long a go the FVPA completed it's first season of the FVPA leagues on Xbox leaving people asking the question "so what happens next?". Well the FVPA have big plans for the FVPA Leagues and we're already getting the ball rolling.
With the first season over on the Xbox the FVPA realise that there have been a few key issues with running a league and we were always well aware that the first season would be very much trial and error. It is for this reason that with the first season over we've focused heavily on rewriting many of the rules for the league and have opened up a league committee consisting of various managers of the clubs who have taken part in season 1 to help us tighten up any issues we have encountered.
Another large step that the FVPA have taken is installing software that will help so many factors of the league become automated and more involving for both the managers and the players of the clubs involved. We know that there were some teething issues within the first season but this automated software should help eliminate many of these issues and help the league run smoother and more efficiently.
Another question that has been raised is "what about the PS3 community?", well this is again something the FVPA have been watching over and with the issues with the Playstation network going down it would seem that the PS3 community has been hit hard with many moving over to the Xbox. That said, the FVPA are not going to abandon the PS3 community and will be looking into setting up a PS3 league as soon as we feel we have the right demand for it so if you're interested in your club competing then we would suggest letting your voice be heard in the feedback section.
The FVPA aim to please and whilst we know we cannot please everybody all of the time we will certainly keep trying.
